Chicken Little

This is one of my favorite hens. She is a little bantam hen. Her eggs are about 1/3 smaller than the regular hens on our farm. She is also a great little sitter. One time I kept adding eggs under her until they were peeking from either side of her. This didn’t make a difference to her, she just fluffed out her feathers and kept them all warm until then hatched. She is also a great mother, she shows the little chicks how to be chickens by scratching and pecking the ground.
